How to Build a Noble World
Fundamentally, building a noble world begins within with the experience of our essential nature through meditation. The goal of meditation is to go beyond the mind and experience one’s own essential nature.
Today our world is facing increasing hostility, hatred, and enmity among individuals, communities, nations, and races. Politicians have tried to bring about a transformation of such selfish behavior of human beings through laws, but to no avail. “Meditation can transform a person’s character, conduct, and behavior.” (from Building a Noble World)
The root cause of the selfish behavior is the lack of understanding of the pure consciousness nature of true Self within. Just as waves that arise from the ocean are nothing but the ocean, similarly, we all human beings are like waves arising from the same ocean of Consciousness. In essence, everyone is a spiritual being having the same Consciousness. Once you discover your own true nature, you will come to understand that everyone is a part of your own Consciousness. “The feeling of oneness is defined as love. We love our family members because we feel a sense of oneness with them. Similarly, to fully love the all-pervading God, one must feel the sense of oneness with all.” (from Building a Noble World)
You may ask, “What difference can a single individual make for peace and harmony in the world?” A short story originally told by Loren Eiseley answers this question very well. A wise man was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. When he came to each starfish, he would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. He had been doing this for some time when an old man approached him and asked, “Why are you doing this? Look at this beach! There must be tens of thousands of starfish on this beach. I’m afraid you won’t really be able to make much of a difference.” The wise man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, threw it back into the ocean, and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!”
Individuals make a family, families make a society, societies make a nation, and nations make the world. Thus, individuals are the world. When individuals change, the world changes. There is no other way to build a noble world.
It is wisely said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Let that first step begin now with reading the book, Building a Noble World.

The mission of Noble World Foundation (NWF) is to promote the inner transformation of individuals for peace, harmony, and well-being in the world.Read More
Inner transformation means to transform the condition of the human mind, which is prone to weaknesses such as anger, greed, jealousy, lust, hatred, and pride. Through the practice of meditation, the mind can become free of these human weaknesses. Unless and until the mind is purified of these weaknesses, one cannot experience the peace of mind. Individuals who have real inner peace naturally radiate that peace into their surrounding, promoting peace and harmony in the world.
NWF serves people of all races, creeds, and religions, providing education by which their minds become more peaceful.

Rama Tirtha’s Vision Coming Alive
World renowned Swami Rama Tirtha (1873 –1906), who was a brilliant Professor of Mathematics, predicted prosperity for the Indian subcontinent by explaining cycles of time called “Law of Periodicity.” Nature shows that the sun moves from east to west, coming back to the east to begin a new cycle.
