How to Build a Noble World

The journey to building a noble world begins with a personal quest — the quest to discover oneself. At the Noble World Foundation, we promote meditation as a way to connect with one’s inner Self, which is vital for planting the seeds of a noble world.

Precisely what is “world”? Individuals form the foundation of families, communities, nations, and, ultimately, the world. Recognizing this, transforming the world starts with transforming each individual.

Can a single individual impact global peace? The answer is a resounding “yes,” beautifully illustrated by a story adapted from the book, The Star Thrower, by Loren Eiseley (1907 – 1977). In this tale, a wise man encounters countless starfish stranded on a beach after a storm. He begins the seemingly endless task of throwing them back into the ocean. When questioned about the impact of his actions given the vast number of starfish, he picked up yet another starfish and threw it into the ocean, replying, “It made a difference to that one!”

This act, simple yet profound, captures the essence of building a noble world: each individual effort, however small, counts significantly.

Happy New Year!

Let’s embrace the spirit of true celebration as the world spins into another year. It’s not just the fireworks lighting up the sky, but the spark inside us — that incredible vibe that makes us feel alive.

Imagine a world where each of us awakens like a Buddha, radiating peace, love, compassion, and awareness. In a world like this, conflicts disappear and are replaced by a universal celebration. In celebrating, we unite with millions to create a harmonious chorus beyond national borders and religious beliefs.

This year, let’s not confine our joy to calendars or clocks. Let each day be a celebration of gratitude and joy, a testimony to the timeless awareness within us. As we enter 2024, let’s pledge to make our lives a year-long festival filled with the colors of love, the music of laughter, and the dance of life.

Happy, happier, and happiest New Year 2024!

Cheers,

Shiv Jhawar

Looking for an extraordinary change? Building a Noble World might appear ordinary, but it holds the power to revolutionize your lifestyle. It guides you to discover inner bliss and true happiness

True happiness is not something external but something within that remains unaffected by life’s ups and downs.

Your mind is like a mirror that should reflect your true self—your being, consciousness, and bliss. However, negative emotions like lust, anger, greed, attachment, hatred, jealousy, and ego act as dust on the mirror, preventing you from connecting with your true self.

The book, Building a Noble World, can transform your life by helping you remove the dust from your mirror and discover true happiness.

A Guide to Discovering Your True Self

It is extremely rare to find such a wealth of knowledge in one small book. The book, Building a Noble World, is more like a “capsule” — reading one small, easy to understand handbook instead of reading fifty complex books.”  Harish S Jhaveri, MD,  Galveston, TX, USA

Both Christ and Buddha are titles, not last names. All enlightened mystics have the same experience: they are one with the all-pervasive Absolute. Therefore, Christhood and Buddhahood are synonymous.

Whether it is Jesus, Gautama, Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Mohammed, or Nanak who achieves enlightenment as a founder of a religion, enlightenment is always the same and identical.

Let me ask you this: When you go to sleep, do you give up your religion?

Meditation is like sleep’s older brother because it leads to a similar state. Just as sleep lies beyond your waking state, so also meditation lies beyond your deep sleep state. If the deep sleep can be so refreshing, imagine how much more refreshing meditation would be.

Helping others is ultimately helping ourselves is a guiding philosophy at Noble World Foundation (NWF). “Why should we do good to the world? Apparently to help the world, but really to help ourselves,” said Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902).

Established in 2004 in Chicago, the Noble World Foundation (NWF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 20-1922549) under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. So, your donation is tax-deductible in the United States.

NWF’s mission is not to change the world directly, but to inspire change in the individual through meditation. Individuals are the “world.” When the heart of an individual changes, the world is bound to change as a consequence. By focusing on individual transformation through meditation, we create ripples that spread peace and harmony worldwide. Every heart transformed is a step towards a noble world.
